Does anyone recognize this 10' WDP SHAWD manual?

I know it may be a long shot but it doesn't hurt asking. I found it for sale but was hoping to find some info on it. Carfax doesn't show any info other than it being from NJ and NY

i think cosmetic modifications are okay, because they can be reversed relatively easy. maybe even get the price knocked down....bring it up...."it's ugly, take a few hundo off and we have a deal" or
"the headlights are unsafe, please take that ugly shit off or knock off the price so i can get them replaced"

exhaust mods or any other mods indicate that it was a project car daily driver.
which is okay, if you are prepared to deal with previous owners mistakes and dont mind finding and fixing things

however, if you would like a car to get in and go and not have to worry, I would pass up a modded car

remember, anytime one deviates away from stock, reliability goes way down!
for me, that's okay..because I have the time and enjoy wrenching...but for others who just want a car to work.....it will be best to grab an unmolested car

Don't recognize the car from Azine. I realize it is difficult to come across a Manual TL but if you will purchase one that is modified, look for one that is a quality build. If someone puts the time, effort and money to do a quality build then more than likely they will also invest the time and effort to maintain it properly.

I also realize that taste is subjective but my personal opinion, that is an example of a poorly modded car.

Not always the case, it really comes down to the owner. For example my car has pretty much all the Mods available for a TL but has been extraordinarily well maintained and taken care of, I can't say that it is any more unreliable than a stock car. Keep in mind also that the current available mods for the 4G are not what one can refer to as serious modifications, that is,until the Rotrex Superchager becomes available
I have seen many unmodified cars that had the shit beaten out of them.

I find that I fidget around a lot more with a simple modded car.
something is always coming loose or I'm always re-adjusting something. gotta make the car jusssst right.
but like you say, it comes down to the owner...I kinda like doing that stuff.

I agree it doesn't have the best looking mods .. and I worry they didn't do a good job or abused the vehicle. .. but as long as they are superficial mods I would be willing to fix them if the price is right .. they're asking $16.5k with 74k miles and tech package

for example the grill I would like to get Ron jon''s .... the roof I am hoping it's only a vinyl application. .. the fog light insert looks painted so I'm sol on that ... i hope the rear "beak" is only black vinyl too ..

I'll try to go see it .. just to see it in person

The car more chance than not would be good. I would drive and listen to the Drive Shaft. Also pop the hood check the color of the fluids make sure you do have money set aside to change ALL fluids especially the brake and rear diff. More times that not the car would be in decent shape and it is a Honda at the end of the day.

The issue with buying modded cars is that it is like a toss up. You either get a person who modded their car and treated it like a queen, or you get someone who modded their car and drove it like they have a race car. Usually the types of mods will tell you which way it went. With the mods being done to this one, I have a feeling it is the latter.

Based on where the white paint is I'd actually lean for it being an accident/repair where the painter got a little over zealous on the plastics.

I was gonna say the same thing. Looks like it was in a front end collision and had macro paint the front end. Usually they are the only ones who will paint over black plastic (grill mesh and fog housings). This is because masking off is up to the owner. A real body shop would mask it off and have it looking oem.
