I traded it in with a $5,500 trade in value. It only had 120,000 km on it though and it was in pretty good shape with brand new brakes and tires. I could have sold it privetly for more but the dealer had the '09 WDP I was looking for so I went for it.

Wr00m...Love your TL and the mods you have done to it! You have took to a level where it looks really sharp without going overboard! I had to laugh about the rain pictures, someone else also commented on it, but I would take the rain over all the snow we have been having here on the East Coast!

Keep up the great work....Looks amazing my Canadian friend....Dare I say....Rolllll up the rim to win?! (lol) Only a Canadian would know what that that means

Thanks! More pictures will be coming once the snow is gone. I've tinted the car and will be installing new 6000k HID kits for my lows and the fogs.

Haven't been updating this for a while. It got a little warmer today and most of the snow is gone now. It was a sunny day for a change so I've decided to tint my tail lights and rear reflectors with some vinyl. Both lights and reflectors took me about 2 hours. It started to get darker when I was done so it looks a little different on the pictures. Also check out my new tint. it's Solar Guard Quantum 28 on all sides and Quantum 19 in the back. I'll redo the back in Quantum 14 next month though as it's a little too light for my taste.

My next mod would probably be rims. Unfortunately I can't lower my car due to my driveway and all the snow in the winter. My fife mostly drives the car and she already scrapes the front lip when she leaves.

I was thinking to go with 20" RonJon Harrows as I like the way they look but not sure if they will look good on stock suspension.

I actually did forget. I didn't even wash the car before taking the pictures as it was getting late.

I used Oracal 8300 #74 Middle Grey.

Hopefully I'll be changing the "meaty" tires and the rims soon. As soon as I figure out what size rims(19" or 20") would work better on stock suspension.

If youre leaving the suspension the way it is i would go with 19" with meaty tires because there wouldnt be as much fender gap as with low profile tires.

I once said that "im not lowering this car" but after modifying every car ive ever owned and being on acurazine... its impossible!!!

I have coils now hahahah

Unfortunately I can't lower my car as even on stock suspension I, sometimes, scrape when entering or leaving my driveway.

I don't think the fender gap will change if I go with say 19" and 245/40/R19 or 20" and 245/35/R20. I think the overall radius of the wheel+tire stays the same. I might be wrong though.

Rondy helped me to make my dream come true and I pulled the trigger on 20" RonJon Harrow in graphite metallic. Thank You Rondy! The best person to do business with!

Tires are Nexen N7000 - 245/35/20

In some pictures i've removed the chrome inserts to see how I like it best but really can't decide for sure. My wife likes the chrome inserts though so I might be leaving them on for now untill I get the vinyl and wrap them.

WITH CHROME INSERTS:

NO INSERTS AT THE FRONT:

I'll take better pictures once it's finally nice out and I'm not working.

Love the rims,i was looking to purchase the same but i really wanted to stay with 19" so i couldn't. They look great with or without the inserts, personally i would leave them off however it is good that you have the choice of making them appear different.

Great choice!!

Thanks! I love them too. I looked at alot of rims and I think these are one of not many sets that look good in 20" even on stock suspension. Rondy helped alot in making my decision also. Though I wish I could lower the car a little but I can't

OK, finally got a chance to polish and wax the car. Also took some better photos of the wheels and the new 6000K HIDs on headlights and the fogs.

Great photo's you took! The wheels look very nice even without a drop. I wonder what they look like without the inserts?

Good job with the polish and wax - your TL looks like liquid.

Thanks! I agree, RJ Harrow one of not many wheels that look good on stock suspension.

It took me at least 5 hours to do the polish and wax but it was worth it though.

Got a chance to take the chrome inserts off today and took a bunch of photos. Could you guys check them out and let me know if you like with or without inserts better. First I thought without the inserts looks better but only when it's static. When the wheel is spinning it looks much better with the chrome inserts. I can't decide.

I prefer it without the inserts because the rim/spokes has a more uniform appearance, with the inserts the spokes appear somewhat heavy/bulky imo.
