Naw, nothing wrong with them. It was time to move on and I wanted to go for a different look. Niche is an excellent brand with an extensive wheel lineup. I honestly would look into their forged wheels if I wasn't so content on a particular set. And on that note, patiently waiting on a new set from Japan! Been almost 3 months now. So stay tuned.

Quick update: new wheels came in and waiting on new lug nut set and haven't ordered tires yet. I'm leaning closer towards end of May to install them because I need to pay the bills first lol.
I did some body work to the front bumper; covering the holes and fixing a crack I made after tapping a sign (the license plate bracket took most of the impact) also fixing all the scrapes on the lips. Then I decided to paint the rear diffuser. Looks a little lighter but not that noticeable. I'm happy overall and think it completes the look IMO. I welcome any feedback.

I was thinking about how that diffuser would look it it was painted to match the car. Doesn't look bad at all.

I assume you removed the bumper when you had it painted up? How did you re-attach the front lip pieces? Do you have part numbers for the ziptie things it uses? I'd like to have my bumper holes filled and the bumper repainted (+ clear bra) but am worried about the side pieces.

Awesome build!
It's 2017 now, TA do you still have the TL? I notice your in RI...pretty close to me (Taunton). Would love to meet up and check out the car and hear how it sounds.
My gf also has a 14 TL shawd in white and recently removed her ATLP exhaust cause the drone was too much for her on the highway + startup woke up her parents =P

And I sold the wheels awhile back too and picked these up. 6 month wait from Japan. Less aggressive

Yes I do lol. I actually sold the catback a few weeks ago so I no longer have it. I enjoy hearing the engine noise more now lol. It's deceptively quick with little to no exhaust note. I looked at the tachometer and I'm in the 5k rev range already lol.

New wheel setup looks awesome. Volk G25s? What specs are you running? Any rubbing?

Wassup Slim, yes they are Volk G25 20x9.5 +35 wrapped in 255/35 tires. Slight rubbing on very hard bumps or big dips. Nothing crazy. If I went 245/35 prolly wouldn't be any rubbing at all but didn't want the rim or lips exposed. And thank you! I wanna try post up some more pics soon if I can make the time.

Nice selection! I might have to borrow that look . Currently in the market for a Civic Type R but dealers are asking for some serious mark-ups. Switching my search in hopes of finding a 4G TL with a manual and low miles and putting some work into it like I did with my 3G TL!

I can't find any type r at MSRP in MA. All of them are $5k - $10k+ ADM.
I'm looking to trade my 2012 shawd adv. with 92k miles on it for a type r, but with those high prices, I might as well get a BMW M2 haha

Hey guys, appreciate the comments. I'm fine, was little shook up initially because the airbag deployed. I wasn't paying attention and rear ended someone. The driver of the other car was fine and the rear bumper cover came out a little and he'll prolly sue the shit out of my insurance. My car had front end damage; basically need to replace the whole front end which was over 15K in repairs. Surprisingly, the car still starts and drives. It was at cruising speeds but I couldn't stop in time. A city bus pulled over and the cars behind it decided to stop instead of just passing it. I didn't expect that on this road. I'm just glad my baby daughter was not in the car.
As for my next car, I'm currently driving a Maxima and will be for at least the winter until I decide if I want to get into another car payment or buy used with cash. I've got a growing family and been working on my house more often so I might end up with a pickup or crossover to haul things. The 4G will prolly be out of the question because it's not practical in my situation. Trunk space is too small and the seats don't fold down. I do miss driving it and shifting thru the gears. I felt so comfortable and connected. The ergonomics of the 4G suited me so very well. Best car I've had a pleasure of owning.
