2011 Grigio SH-AWD Painted Grille
Here's a couple of pictures I just shot of my TL, I just picked it up from the body shop where I had the grille and trunk piece painted to match.
I am going to be removing the ACURA and the TL badges tomorrow, do you all think I t=should smoke the remaining emblems or leave them chrome??? thanks for and suggestions https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3905/...99cb2c95_b.jpgTL-Grill Paint by RjayP Photography, on Flickr https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3910/...6840591e_b.jpgTL-Grill Paint-2 by RjayP Photography, on Flickr |
how much did it cost you if you dont mind me asking?
|
$500 normally, but I am a service advisor For Harper Acura and the body shop we use exclusively hooked me up while it was in for some repair work on my fender. They want us to start offering it to our customers as a service. $525 includes tax

I decided to leave them chrome...https://farm3.staticflickr.com/2922/...0413e77a_b.jpgTL Lake 2 by RjayP Photography, on Flickr

Chrome goes with the window trim. Looks clean.

I know it's been said 1000x before but if this car debuted with a color matched grille, it would've been a hot seller. Your car is nearly stock and looks amazing.
|
I have scheduled my car to have this done in early July - very excited as yours looks awesome!
|
Thanks!

It does look great. It looks EXACTLY like mine. I get so many compliments on it. You will love it.
I wish however, that I had had Nexson do my grille as it is chipping like crazy. It looks like a teen with bad acne now, but I do have over 90K hwy miles on it since having it done. I agree with someone else who said if this car had come off the production line like this, it would have sold like crazy. |
^^^We can always work something out. I have an extra grille in stock :0) you can send back your old one as well.

I think the grille is going to have to wait until I get the car feeling like it's old self again. |
Looks great.

Wish I could. Right now, I have to focus on struts, all four brakes and rotors, tires and timing belt.

IMHO: Leave emblems and smoke the chrome trim. And add 20mm wheel spacers.

Love that 2nd shot-that could be your next Avatar!

Thanks for the suggestion ;)

The beak was always to aggressive for my tastes congrats on getting it painted. Looks a lot better in my opinion.

Car looks good OP. Nice pics.
Go Vols! I used to live in Kingsport back in the late 80's so I'm a bit partial to UT. |
