2010 PSM 6MT SH-AWD before/after

I've got H&R springs and Koni shocks still to put on, that will hopefully be weekend after next. But for now, here's where I started, this was 11/2016:

Added wheels, replaced the front bumper with a new OEM one just yesterday and added the OEM kit at the same time. Threw in a full detail inside and out, wheels, wheel wells, exhaust tips, Mg 105 and Mg 205 2-stage polish, with P21S carnauba wax. Going to do one more coat of wax but not today, I'm beat. Overall I am ecstatic about how it all turned out. She still has a few minor bruises here and there but ultimately, it's a night and day difference.

They are 20" x 8.5" OZ Ultra HLTs, 34mm offset if I remember right.

I got it from Bruce at Endless RPM. $1045 shipped which was far cheaper than anywhere else, shipped. I had a shop put it on because the car was already there, but I understand it's not hard to put on yourself. It's painted, and much newer paint than is on my car, but it still turned out pretty good I think.

Sweet man! those OZ ultra look really good on the car! Hey about the MG 105 and 205. Is it safe to use on any paint and easy to use? I want to do a full detail on my car. Thanks

Thanks brother! I used the 105 (heavy cutting) with a Lake Country orange pad and the 205 (finishing polish) with a Chemical Guys hex white pad. Both on a Porter Cable DA. With that combo? You'd have to really try to screw up some paint. I didn't have anything close to a concern yet the 105 and even 205 corrected plenty of issues both on my car and my wife's Odyssey. Loved both and have plenty to go around but hopefully I'll be able to take care of both cars well enough that I won't need either for a long time

Your welcome man! Thanks for all your help! I want protection that lasts lol. Did the 105 help with water spots by chance?

It did. I got "toddler'd" last time I washed the car and wasn't able to dry it quickly enough and we have really hard water (we're on a well). After the wash/polish, I couldn't find a single water spot. I'm no expert so this is just a guess, but even 205 on a finishing pad should make short work of water spots, I think.

I find that i'm re-applying sealant every six months or so..

I'm going to let the new bumper paint and underspoiler paint age just a little, polish it all and ceramic seal it next spring. Not really a method to the madness, I just want to give the paint a little time since it's really, really fresh, especially the front bumper.

Hi Fiona! I used "Brilliant" metal polish, rubber gloves, and a yellow/green 3M scrubbing sponge. It took awhile, but I'm really happy with how they came out. FWIW, traditional iron-removing chemicals didn't put a dent in the situation, it required an abrasive polish.

I hope that helps!

edit - forgot to say thanks for the compliment!

No problem! I will have to try that. Figured a good scrubbing sponge was involved.
