I believe if you are out of state you get a break if its legal in your home state... Less likely to get ticketed for it.

Hey same here. I love your TEIN setup. Thats got to be the way to go. Trying to convince my wife that its necessary is going to be a hard sell

Actually I don't drive too much at night so I can't say but I think it would be significant. So I actually removed it. My plan is to replace it with a lighter tint. Gunsmoke is 12% while tint is only 6%. Going to go with the tint instead. Will update pics when I get it done.

Sucks you removed the gunsmoke cause it makes teh car look amazing, but Im sure the tint will look good as well. Looking forward to pictures.

I have 15% in front, and I too have never been pulled over.

Either way, I'll still never get a ticket.

Those tinted headlights changes the whole look of the front end. The grille doesn't look so odd. I have the base model in this color. It's a great car even with the grill. I think I will have my headlights done like this when I get the windows tinted. I like the painted grille on the black cars too. But I think I'll leave it and just do the headlights.

I think the tinted headlights tones the grill down a little. I could live with the grill on your car and the grill helps accent the rims you have on your car too.

 

Please tell me you are kidding, there are shops that do superb work and charge 120ish for 5 windows with some quality tint.

I like the idea of painting the grill a darker color. I have a 2010 CBP as well and i am getting the grill and wheels painted in frozen gray metallic (its on the limited edition m3) so it still has the OEM look but meaner. Originally wanted to color match the grill but thought it changed the look too much.

 

Love those wheels man... This is what they look like in WDP. Wouldn't trade them for any other wheels. Not sure what's my next mod. Any suggestions.

i love your wheels... love the car overall, but honestly, the headlight tint is something I would not have done.

i think it makes the headlights disappear too much, and I like how the headlights lines work with the front end.. by tinting the lights, they "disappear" and you lose that aesthetic..it also seems to make the "beak" stand out more to me..

it's your car, if you like it, more power to you. overall, your car is HOT and I'm NOT knocking it!!! I'd trade y ou my 06 RL in a heartbeat.... just giving you m y candid thoghts.

OP, beautiful car as is. The stock grill is aggressive and suits your car perfectly. Sorry but I'm no fan of any of these grill mods and much prefer the OEM which makes the car unique looking and stand out. I also agree about the headlight tint being a bit much but those wheels, window tint, and skirts sure look awesome on that black beauty.

 

I like this painted grill. It looks like a matte version of the midnight chrome Sport Grill.
