19" RonJon Legacy Wheels on my BWP TL

Winter's over for sometime now so I decided to pick up 19" RonJon Legacy in Liquid Graphite +45 running on 245/40/19 Conti DWS tires. So far I've been pretty happy with these wheels and Conti DWS feels much better than my 18" OE Michelin's. Thought i'd share some photos.

Looks great, how are you shinning the DWS? It found them difficult to shine regardless of what I used; gel, spray, foam etc.

I've tried only foam and no luck with shinning them.

Another mod I was planning on is lowering (depends on wife and my 2 yr old) but also don't want to be plowing snow or bottoming out...from previous rides. Switchbacks would be nice as well, strangely enough I haven't seen many mods here in Vancouver.

Looks great! Those are one of my favorite RJ wheels.

You should maybe get some new lugs though. Them things are huge, unless its due to the offset.

Matt: I've been checking out the lugs on eBay, any suggestions on which ones. Current lugs are 2" long, will 35mm or 37mm lugs be long enough?

Black or gunmetal would hide them nicely. The one Treblig suggested seem to be good but honestly I have no idea what lugs you should use though. I think the offset has a bit to do with it also. Like my rear offset is 42 and the lugs poke out like yours but my fronts are flush with a 35 Offset. Maybe ask rondog what he suggests. I'd hate to give you bad info!

I actually looked into the Goriila locks but some reviewer claim it start to rust after a couple of weeks. Here's a link:

Black or gunmetal is what I prefer, I'll do so more research.

They stopped making them short because the lug spec of the TL is shared with chevy full sized trucks, so I guess the industry felt they could just use the larger ones for all 14 x 1.5.
If they rust or if you find shorter ones regardless of finish, powdercoat them a single color to prevent the deterioration.

Thanks for the tip. I'll be on the lookout, but I bought the black lug nuts.

Decided new shorter black spline lugs. Thanks Matt and Treblig for your suggestions.

BTW Treblig - the Black lugs look really good on your wheels.

Sorry for the crappy iphone pics.
