012TL-GLM - First mods

I can't believe how much this transformed the car. It just pops now!

35% tint all around, and just got the grill painted this week.

Still deciding if I want a rear window spoiler. Splash guards are probably next, and exhaust mods.

I have my heart set on ron jon's but I think I'll wait a while - I actually like the stock 18's a lot

Cell pics for the moment - I need to get her cleaned up for some proper shots

Looks good. Your off to a good start. Rear roof spoiler looks great on these cars.

Congrats on some of the mods! The tint was a great idea and the proposed roof spoiler is also a great idea. I am not sold on the painted grill on the 2012 MY. I thought it made a positive impact on the 2009-2011 MY but on the 2012, I feel Acura had improved the grill immensely and no need to have it painted....now that is just my opinion and based on cell pics. Hope you don't take it as an offense....

no offense taken bro - appreciate the opinion. I agree that the '12 grill is a step in the right direction, but I just didn't like the chrome perimeter with silver middle. I think this way just flows so much better considering the chrome down the windshield, and under the bumper. If I bought a silver car I would have kept it stock

Here's a pic I just snapped when getting home - you can see how clouded over it is here, I think rain is on the way...Next change will be chrome license plate frames, need to stop free advertising...

See, that is why I usually hate commenting cause I end up eating my words! *lol* This better quality picture shows the painted grill in a whole different light (no pun intended!)

It looks much better than I had originally thought....These darn Acura's are not photogenic cars and you have to have the right angle/light to really enhance the way they look! Luckily, in person these cars look so much better!

PS....The same system affecting the Great Lakes will track south of our area on Wednesday evening and keep the precipitation away from us...which is good!

that last pic also changed my perspective on the painted grill. If you look at closely it looks like it flows with the blacked out headlights.....nicejob

love the car!! The grill is terrific. Really flows with the car. The chrome around the grill and the chrome on the lower front bumper really work well together.

yes on the rear window spoiler.

Finally take a look at the 19" diamond cut wheels that Acura sells. They are among the best looking on a black TL IMO.

In fairness, I think I just described my car exactly. I need to post pics at some point for you to look at. I took them, but haven't uploaded yet.

Oh man, that looks terrific! All it needs now is a drop, the RJ kit, ATLP quads, and maybe some wheels

thanks for the comments - I'm in love with the ron jon legend II's but the economist inside me says burn the stock tires a year or 2 before upgrading, so wheels later

I think I will get a roof spoiler, they do add that little extra that's needed to really make the side profile stand out

The body kit is sweet, but being a daily driver in IL I don't think I wanna go any lower, which goes for a drop too. I am just about ready to pull the trigger on splash guards, I think they add to the overall look

I'm anxious to get the RV6 Jpipe and HFPC's - a little more power never hurts
