**pics** white tl -aerokit. Toronto premier gala

What an event! Open Bar, Steaks, Hot Chics. WOW! and even a loot bag on your way out.

Anyhow, in my opinion the aerokit is the only way to go. In person it looked amazing. No pricing yet but available in Canada in 1 week. The had the AWD on display with the nicer rims that the one in the white. I thought white looked sharp! Too many buttons inside but i think we can all get use to it. A sales manager told me SH-AWD will be priced just a tad under 50K. If quality of pics i apologize. Took them with my blackberry

Hope this link works.

That aero kit does wonders for the car.

I completely disagree. The back looks terrible and it just doesn't blend in well. I would like to see an aero and non-aero side by side but to me it looked overdone and stuck on rather than flowing.

I thought that the new TSX is priced above $40K Canadian? If so, the TL is a steal at under $50K!!!!

2 big mistakes acura made on the 4g
#1 OVER SIZED grill
#2 UNDER sized rim
other wise the car would look pretty good

the 4g is more luxury than sport where as the 3g is more sport than luxury !
this is a GOOD change since acura wants to become a more luxury brand

The front fenders look "a bit out of place" in that the kit does not flow from the sides of the front bumper to the front. The fenders "stick out".

The aerokit looks bad ass and makes the car look a bit more ferocious on the pearl white but the front underbody spoiler needs a redo and a new aftermarket grill. Maybe a carbon fiber lip would do the trick

Is this an "Aerokit" or the A-spec Kit?? The bodykit looks good except the front pc seems a bit weak. But the bodykit does add a bit more aggressive look to the car.

looks better but it didn't help the front too much, the back it doesn't match but it makes it more aggressive.

acura/honda have been producing a new style of lip kits where the front lip extends over and around the grill, im disappointed that they didn't do that here. even the new 8th gen accord has it. wtf acura?

sorry had to add: i really think the rear looks nice after seeing the car in white.

to be honest this car can work very well. aftermarket grill will set you apart from a lot of stock tl's, drop will help set it off.. i think it can work if modded correctly to look even better than a 3rd gen heavily modded... speculation but give it a few years and we'll see.

Palladium Metallic

I attended the Toronto show at Muzik and also liked the White Diamond Pearl on black. Not fussy about the aerokit though. But the car that really blew me away was SH-AWD in Palladium Metallic on the pedestal. That colour really make the TL stand out.

I found that both the front and rear treatment of the new TL to be much more acceptable in real life. Most of the pictures I had seen gave me reservations about the new design but in person the car looks great. Disappointed that they haven't reduced Canadian prices though unlike Lexus who has.

so for the front, it's just that 1 little piece on each side?

all in all not bad, the pricing for the kit on acura's website isn't outrageous and i'm sure it will end up being cheaper online.

I'm obviously in the minority here, but that kit is absolutely hideous. It looks like somebody just taped on plastic panels around the car.

The aerokit definitely makes the car a lot more attractive, but I am not sold on the grille.

I like it!

It's not an A-SPEC kit, they're optional body accessories

Guys,

I really want to like this kit, and I've looked at the pictures over and over. But do you think it looks like snap-on accessories? Do you think the kit loses the smooth lines of the TL? And does it look too boxy now with this kit?

WOW.. the rear looks sooo much better and more aggresive with the kit, fronts a little better, but yes the grill does still kill it. maybe itll grow on me in person?

and im guessing its gonna be ridiculously hard to find a nice aftermarket exhaust for it considering the cut-outs for the tips are so loooong

I went to the Acura Dealership today in Kitchener..
I'm on the waiting list for the '09 TL... I also got a booklet for the 'o9 TL. The pictures in the booklet are looking better and better... and the aero-kit[not a-spec kit] looks fantastic. Can't wait to see and drive it in person.
The Grigio Metallic is looking bad-ass... And the salespeople at the dealership seem very happy and enthusiastic about the new TL. However... it seems that I knew a little more about it then they did.

Um...that's not surprising at all! The majority of us here knows more about the TL than any of the sale folks at the dealership!

The rear is definitely much improved with the aero kit, but I feel as though the front emulates the 04-06 aero kit way too much and it doesn't look all that nice.

From the pictures, I'm surprised they didn't continue the piece that fits in front of the front tires to continue on to the lower part of the front grill (underneath the driving light/turn signal). That piece looks somewhat awkward-almost like an afterthought.
