STOPTECH Big Brake Kit by Excelerate Performance!!!

Excelerate Performance is proud to announce a strategic partnership with STOPTECH in producing a Big Brake Kit for the 09+ TL. To make this BBK come closer to reality and production I am going to need 6 purchasers. We will also need a test-fitter in the So Cal so that we can produce the kit. Based on our experience and speaking with STOPTECH I'm thinking a 4-piston 355mm disc will be the best setup.
There will be a choice of red, black or silver calipers; drilled rotors will be $100 extra and zinc coating will be $70 extra. Anyone who purchases on the initial run will get the kit for $2195 shipped to the cont 48 US for the standard color/slotted rotor combination. We will need a 50% deposit up front for the BBK and 50% will be due when the parts are ready to ship.
So those of you who were on the list and who are ready to pull the trigger please re-confirm your name. We are ready to move forward with the R&D phase and I need to get names and deposits. Thanks.

This is just the front BBK. It would be a 2 pc 355X32mm disc. List on this kit is going to be $2595, but we're offering this initial sale price. We can get a rear BBK made but it would be $3,000 plus due to the need for a dual set of calipers for braking and e-brake function.

New to the Forum. Picked up my TL SH AWD 6spd HPT lastnight. I have read enough to throw myself at the opportunity for a BBK. I am in the San Diego area so if you need another test vehicle for whatever reason, be sure to think of me.

Once again, this is not a thread for BBK discussion. This is our sales thread in relation to producing a STOPTECH BBK. Please start a new thread.

The price is really pretty reasonable. Even though this is a custom kit we're still only charging production prices (actually lower for this GB). I can lower the price about $400 if we want to use a smaller disc (13") but then it would only be a few tenths of an inch larger than the factory disc.
Oh, if only I had the money for these... maybe in a year. I hope that others sign up for it because I want these available when I can actually buy them. I have a set of Wilwood BBK's on my Prelude and it's amazing. They are so worth it on a car that weighs almost 1000lbs less than the TL, so I can only image how awesome they'd be on a TL.
Don't lose hope in these guys Josh!

I don't know much on aftermarket modification. I hope someone can clarify for me. Do you need to calibrate the braking bias compensate/balance the front BBK setup? Will it confuse the EBD system?

If we still have the first 3 committed and a tester we can move forward with this project.

Ok. That's good. Are you ready to bring in the vehicle and pay for the big brake kit? If so email me so we can set up some time to drop off the vehicle and do the R&D.
