Reviews: More audible engine bay, more aggressive sound. When installed with no other mods, has not been documented that any noticeable power gain is present on the AWD car. FWD feedback has been mixed. Slight MPG increases have been reported. Consensus has been disappointment for the investment, but perhaps will prove beneficial with the presence of other modifications to open up the hot side of the engine.

I've got this exact SRI in my '09 Accord (J35, FWD). The review in the original post is spot on. The only thing I'd add is that the filter is washable/reusable, so that's kinda nice.

I agree with post #1... disappointed on the AWD model. I felt power gains, but after I removed it... i felt huge top end power increase.

My thoughts:: it shifts the power band lower. some low end gains, but loss of top end

Most aftermarket cold-air-intakes/air-filters add only minimal gain in hp, if any, alone by themselves. Because the exhaust side is still comparatively restricted.

More significant power gain can only be achieved by replacing with both free-flow intake and free-flow exhaust (header + cat + muffler).
