Hissing sound coming from engine bay after installing P2R gaskets
Hello,
I've recently installed the P2R Throttle body gaskets + spacers and the IMG gasket. Now when I push the gas pedal 1/3-1/4 of the way I hear a hissing sound coming from the engine bay. I didn't have that kind of noise when I only had the Takeda SRI.
Any thoughts on the reason? I tighten the clamps but all seems fine on that front...
I rolled teflon tape around the plug to ensure a tight fit as well.
Any input would be welcome and greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
YetiTL

I have the Takeda intake and P2P spacer installed. I notice a very easily heard "hiss" or "gasp" coming from the engine bay when I initially step on the throttle. Im guessing the removal of the airbox is why I can now hear the engine gasp for air as I step on it. Given what I'm reading here, must be normal.

Hey so did you ever resolve the hissing problem man ? i got the same setup, 3.7 mani and tb with p2r gasket and spacer, and its a hissing noise also. It sounds like car is spooling boost with foot lightly on throttle
