you'll see a itty bitty torque increase! 
Looking at 5 and up to 10 wtq on the powerband. At the cost of 1-2 HP. I'll share the dyno pix once I get the PC up and running again.

I also want to correct myself. You lose top end tq and a few top end HP. You gain midrange HP and gain low-mid range tq

any air tuning is done in the intake manifold and not before it, thus why throttle spacers dont do anything.
however, the intake manifold spacer goes after the intake manifold!
throttle body --> Intake manifold --> intake manifold spacer --> injector runners --> heads.
the spacer most likely aids in air tuning by creating more volume before it enters the cylinders.

Burning Brakes
It effectively makes the individual runners longer. Do a internet search on intake runner length tuning. What year MDX had a stock spacer?

The MDX spacer is a little tight for an Accord, TSX, or TL.
