I recenlty got a straight pipe on my 2011 Acura TL, in the process of getting the straight pipe, my mechanic removed one of my catalytic converter( the one that connected with resonator) will this harm my TL in any type of way ? Or can drive with out it ????

the time frame doesnt matter.
you had already gotten it done, and if it did produce ill effects...it would already have happened.
good thing this was a baby mod and it didnt fuck up the car. but it would behoove you to research first.
unless you are the type to "shoot first, ask questions later."

the car will be fine.. you will smell fumes and car would sound loud as shit.. but you should be fine. 3rd cat is not a big deal.. heeltoe makes 3rd cat deletes anyways.. you will have problem smogging the car though

No big deal. I've never noticed a difference removing the mid-cat. However, if you replace the pre-cats with deletes, that where you'll get the smell. Smells like an old chevy V8 at that point. Ah, the smell of an inefficient GM engine......

It seems to be general consensus that 3rd cat removal does not cause a stink and does not trigger a cel because of the built in defouler. Thus, no issues with emissions inspection unless your state is years behind and performs sniff tests.
Do correct me if I'm wrong here - I plan on doing jpipe sometime next year..

^there is no sensor on the third cat. so no defouler needed.
