Unhappy Cat back exhaust???

Has anyone heard anything about who is going to be making a catback for the 4G? Been searching the net but have come up with nothing. Actually seems that the aftermarket is over looking this car. Can't seem to find anything 'cept the Takeda short ram and Eibach springs.

definitely going to take a while... my money says, at least 6mo's - 1year... XLR8 and/or ATLP will probably be the first, followed by some popular aftermarket company like greddy or tanabe.... greddy, most likely not, since this car is more luxury than sport, and nobody wants 10" coffee cans on their 4G

Actually I heard that the 4G is on greddy's r&d list, I was suprised as well. Tanabe will prob produce as well, but they always seem to take a while. XLR8 will prob be the first, followed by ATLP.

Honestly, I hope somebody makes a "sane" exhaust.

My ATLP was soooo bad-ass, but it was overkill.. my car sounded like a monster with that exhaust on the 3G.. so does XLR8's... Greddy Evo's? Forget about it.. my neighbor lives like 300-400ft away, and when he starts its car, its louder then when i started mine in my own driveway..

I would rather a comptech or tanabe exhaust, or atleast if Josh or Mike put a Mid-muffler in the exhaust.. to get that quiet, aggressive zippy sound...

Now that you have the 4G, I think it's going to force people to start upping the game on the 4g.

But mid muffler please!!! touring luxury exhaust... it'll sell!!!

Honestly.... the 4G is much more luxury, and less sport... i think it needs a humble exhaust

speaking of aftermarket exhaust for 4G, i'm wondering how the exhaust tips gonna work out with the factory tips being rectanglar shapes and all.

We're working on some parts now; first the j-pipe and third cat. I need a volunteer in the AZ area to get the exhaust made.

Greddy makes stuff for the luxury market as well. My brother has a system for his Lexus IS350, it's really classy looking and quiet.

I can't see that ever happening. It would require you to swap out your entire exhaust from the j-pipe back if someone wanted to make it bolt-on. It would probably cost around $2,000. I doubt there is a market for that.

Does anyone have an online diagram of the exhaust setup? I remember part/most of the exhaust back is somewhat true-dual already.

Only the AWD model has a dual catback. But it starts at a single inlet flange. So even if you bolted up that, it's not a true dual. You'd have to chop off that merge and hook up to the pipes.

Has anybody heard anything new about exhaust? I just got my intake and it makes such a big difference that I can hardly wait to see what exhaust will do!

It's possible it would fit the FWD model, but I tested on the AWD, and no go.
