Not to state the obvious, but I thought manual transmissions require 3 pedals + foot rest/dead pedal?

I just bought a pair for my AT from eBay. Looks really good. Very easy install. Took off the acc pedal but kept everything else on.

Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet

Was 30 bucks. The Acura Logo is embossed, not a sticker or paint. Rubber is super thick, won't be worn down anytime soon. Metal is really light and seems strong. I had to buy new screws because I torqued out the ones it came w/ so they didn't look nice. But that was like another 2 dollars at home depot. It came w/ locknuts too. I used permanent loctite on it so I shouldn't be having any issues at all.

Has anyone tried to use Strut King TSX (04-08) pedal set it looks just the same as OEM Acura TSX (09-14) pedeal set? If the Strut King gas pedal cover fits I think I will go this route vs buying the OEM Acura TSX (09-14) gas pedal.

I installed that manual set from Strut King for a TSX in my 2014 TL and looks and feels great. Awesome upgrades from stock. You would need to modify it a little to make it fit but nothing you can't handle. Simple mod for sure. 30 mins to install tops.

What, exactly did you have to modify? Please give details for the guys interested in making this work for the 6 speed...

The only thing that needs to be modified is the the TLs footrest. It needs to be cut about a centimeter on either side to be able to fit in the chrome footrest that comes with the TSX kit. All the other stuff is pretty much self-explantory. Just follow the direction and you should be good. The tools you need will be a drill, screwdriver and a 7mm socket wrench. Drill a few holes into each pedal and install and you are golden. Their is also some videos on YouTube too that you can get some pointers on. Good luck.

46992-TL0-R01 - Dead pedal footrest isn't available anymore.

Will the TL-S dead pedal work or only the TSX special edition?
