iPOD Audio updates?

Hi

Few issues I have with ipod on my TL currently NAV =

1) Can't scroll artist , songs etc.. in A,B,C format, like you do for "PHONE BOOK"

2) It doesn't support any other languages/formats whether japanese, chinese, korean etc... anyway to do so?

Cheers

These are all settings on your iPod, adjust them, they try re-hooking it to the TL.

1) I mean when I scroll by "ARTIST" I can only scroll down, but it takes few minutes to scroll to "Z" Letter since I have so many artists, How can I scroll incrementally, like when you scroll for PHONE BOOK in ACURA?

2) I can't see songs in Japanese or Chinese, Korean etc...characters, I see it in ... or just %!#@!@ , any idea? In my IPOD it reads it fine.

1) has nothing to do with Acura, this is a limitation of the iPod. The reason the scrolling is so slow is because the Apple API that Acura must use only lets the radio pull results in small chunks of about 10 results.

2) The songs that come through are the track name, if the track name is in another language it comes through in that other language. But the current acura interface has a limitation when veturing outside of ASCII character ranges.

That may be true of the scroll speed in general, but I had an Alpine headunit in another car. It had a scroll bar that allowed you to quickly jump forward, say from A all the way to S. Unless I've missed it, the Acura doesn't seem to have this ability.
