Love the Aquarium and back up camera pictures! Freaking awesome lol. The Acura one is pretty dope too. Why can it only hold 10?!?! I think I'm gonna keep my two faves of mine (Hammerheads and Thetis Moon) and throw some of those on there as well.

The screen in the TL is VGA resolution. But it is an LCD. The viewing angles and color uniformity of current LCD technologies are vastly improved over older tech, which suffered from the issues you mention.

Can anyone suggest the type of format for their USB drive (FAT, FAT32, NTFS...)? I have used several USB drives and none work. Also, is it better to call the drive "root" as opposed to another name? Thanks in advance guys...

I've had success with thumb drive by Crucial. I tried a couple drives that I bought from Best Buy with no success.
They key to this is that you need to have your images on the 1st partition. A lot of these thumb drives come with the initial partition containing an .exe program (to make them more windows friendly). No matter what I tried I was unable to get rid of these programs/partitions.
Go to an Apple store and get a thumb drive. The Crucial thumb drive I got was clean of this programs and after formatting it to FAT32 (use disk utility) I was all set.

Another Pic
Hi
All,
Attached is a picture of the Carina Nebula capture by the Hubble Telescope.
This image is 1280x768, which is also a size that works perfect for the TL nav screen.

To attach an image, you will need copy the address of the picture from the website. Once you have the address, for example: https://acurazine.com/pictures/TL.jpg (this is fake, but just used as an example)
Open a new reply, and look at the toolbar along the top of the reply window, you will find a button that has a picture of a mountain and if you hover over it a label will say "insert image", this will then prompt you to enter the website address. Paste it in and you're good to go.

For those having trouble with USB sticks...
This is a great little tool I have been using for quite some time. It was created by HP and it works on USB sticks and USB hard drives.
It is a Windows only utility---sorry Mac guys.
It is a small install--won't take up any drive space.
To use---download and install. Make sure you copy off any data you want to keep, as the tool will delete it from the USB key. Insert your USB key and start the program. Select the correct device (be especially careful if you have any external hard drives connected via USB), and select FAT32 as the filesystem. Give it any volume label you want and click Start. That should do the trick. Hope it helps.
