Vantage N2 dashcam interfering with radio reception

Vantage N2 dashcam interfering with radio reception

My dashcam is interfering with my radio reception. Does anybody know of a fix?

As an option, try to take the GND from a place that is not connected to the radio.

I’m not sure what you are speaking of. The dash cam is plugged into one of the cigarette lighter receptacles (what they used to be called). It’s the one in the center console.

It looks like the radio and accessory connector have different grounds. You need to find out how it interfering the radio, through power or through the signal. Try powering your dash camera with a different power source, if that doesn't work then your dash camera is bad.

a bad power adapter or power supply to the camera can cause electrical interference. Sometimes it can be as simple as the capacitors that are in the power supply
