USB 3 or USB 2

Hi has anyone gotten a USB 3.0 flash drive to work with the USB connector in a 2010 TL? I have tried 2 different flash drives (both USB 3.0) and both show no files on the drive. They both show all of the files on the computer.

I am going to try a 32 GB USB 2.0 flash drive tomorrow.

Cheers.

Yes I did. I just tried it this morning with a 32 GB USB 2.0 flash drive and it worked perfectly. I know that the USB 3.0 is supposed to be backward compatible with USB 2.0 but I don't know if the interface in the car is looking for specifically a USB 2.0 drive.

The USB 3.0 drives I tried were 128 GB and 64 GB. The 64 GB one was reformatted as FAT32. Do you know if the Allocation Unit size makes a difference?
