In my 2010 TL w/ Tech, I have the "A" trip computer to reset with refuel. But it instead seems to reset essentially randomly - with refuel and when there hasn't been any refuel, but not with every start or even every day.

Anyone else seen this?

 

Very odd... I've noticed no issue with mine. I usually watch it and a few seconds after I start the car after a fill-up it resets. Does it always reset with refuel? Or is that intermittent also?

 

It resets with refuel and sometimes when there has not been any refueling. It seems to be too sensitive.

 

Noticed the same issue recently. Where is the sensor for this - is it attached to the fuel door release or something more sophisticated?

 

I don't believe it is attached to the Fuel Door release, as I always open my fuel door to dry out that area after I was the car and the readout has never been affected. Must be something to do with the physical removal of the cap itself. After nearly 5 months and over 12,000 miles mine has never changed except after refueling or by my resetting it.
