STATIC! on Navigation and most FM Stations

I've seen this topic on some dated threads, but still don't know if there is a definitive solution. I've been getting alot of static through most of the FM stations and even my navigation recently. There is no static on AM stations, CDs, iPod (thru cassette player). Nothing new or modified on my car to cause the problem. Its just driving me crazy. (Yes my windows are tinted but have been since 2005 so doubt that is not the problem).

Is there a solution out there that has worked for anyone?

Thanks

The only thing that I could possibly think of would be window tint, BUt since you said that its been ok since 2005 im not sure. Loose connection possibly where the antenna is connected?

You'll have better luck with this in the 3rd Gen section.
