They are not responding to emails for me at this time either. Yesterday I got a phone call and an email follow up within an hour. Today = Nothing.
You could blast them on Twitter & FB -- that usually gets attention since your post it being viewed by thousands of people.
To be honest I am tried of dealing with them now. I don't have to have traffic & weather -- I am on free trial right now anyway. It's just nice to have it when you want/need it. The sit back and wait approach sounds better at this point. When they do get it fixed I am going to ask them to extend my trail. I have 4 radios with them so I'll be happy to threaten cancellation if they won't extend my trail.

My two cents for what it is worth. Problem started Thursday on and off. Did a signal refresh Friday..nothing then did the whole radio reinstall Friday.. nothing and nothing since. On the phone about an hour Friday. They extended my contract from Nov to May of 2014 for no added cost. Indicates receiving signal for radio and traffic (do not subscribe to weather) but noting on the map screen. On the guidance screen traffice incidents lights up after a while but when you click it (no traffic info). Also exit info for on route guidance is greyed out. I am in Portland OR not sure location makes any difference.

Mine hasn't worked the last few days either. I've had issues ever since I got the car in March. My biggest issue is that sirius and xm have been one company for the last 6 years and their coverage is completely different between units. Do any of you have a sirius unit with traffic updates in another car? The sirius coverage of traffic is amazing for my area. Then I get in my TL and they don't even cover route 78 as soon as you exit the Holland Tunnel. lol. what a joke. I won't be renewing.
SiriusXM says their Sirius Traffic service is very developed but their XM Traffic service is not. You're right, if they are the same company then wtf?
I used to have an 07 RDX with XM Traffic and I was almost not going to buy my new Acura just because they still use XM radios. Next time it's a deal breaker. If Acura doesnt switch then it's goodbye.

Your kidding, right? A deal breaker if the button does not say Sirius? The Sirius and XM programming/data all comes from the same place. Who cares if the receiver in the can is branded XM or Sirius?

On a related note, I'm finding that my traffic display is in and out. It will not highlight the road's in a color, but if I click into 'Traffic Incidents' it will give me the information. I'm guessing it needs time to boot? Because my weather will say 'No Data' as well, but show a radar? Anyone else have similar issues?

I am having similar issues. Some times I have full Nav, most time not. Once or twice I have had weather, but most times just "current condition" that I can see out of my window.

How interesting. I called Friday and they did 'refresh signal thing' but after about 30 minutes, they said that my radio was faulty and I needed to get it checked out/replaced.
Fast forward, my wife tells me just to cancel it and I call in and I get word of this. Thank goodness you guys posted about it, because I thought they were full of shit.
The only difference is my rep credited me $10 instead of the "prorating" it. I told her I was concerned with not having service beyond what she prorated me.
Still, it's mega annoying.

Well, here is an update. I just called the number listed above (the 855 number) and talked to a tech. When I told him my problem he said "You have an Acura?". He said they were having a problem and they thought they had a solution, which was "delete" the account and put it back and then send an activation signal. XM still works, Traffic and Weather are still spotty at best. He said there was no ETA for repair, but when it was repaired there would be a credit for the time the service was out of service.

These people have no f'ing clue. I talked to them today, and they assured me a signal refresh would take care of the problem (told them it was an Acura TL too). As all of you have already found out, two refreshes later and the weather/traffic are still out. If XM/Sirius were a ship, it'd be on the bottom of the ocean floor.

New member to this site. My wife and I own a 2012 TL Tech (my primary) and 2011 RDX Tech/SH-AWD (her primary). Both cars have Traffic and Weather subscriptions and both have been out since last Thursday. I spoke with an Acura Care representative twice (yesterday and today) and they have been in contact with SiriusXM but did not indicate when there would resolution.
I find the lack of communication more frustrating than the service being out.

This is wider than some think.. I have a '09 TSX Tech and have also been without Traffic since Thursday. I dont subscribe to weather.
I have done multiple refreshes as well, and what kills me is that there is either complete denial or lack of knowledge about an ongoing issue! Mine is NOT HD based.

'11 TSX wagon with tech. I'm also having problems. I'm basically done with XM though. I live in a small city with virtually no traffic anyway and Pandora works beautifully in 5.1 quality sound.

Siruis/XM had the nerve to send me an invite to complete a survey regarding customer care. I had nothing positive to say and blasted them on the traffic/weather issue. As of yesterday afternoon a technician stated that they have no ETA on resolving the issue.

Contacted CS via FB, and was contacted by the Digital Care Team. Tried the deactivation and re-activation of account and radio. No resolution.
SiriusXM Engineering was notified of issue. It is difficult to believe no prior beta testing of programming changes were made prior to implementation.

Just received a call from a SiriusXM Advanced Tech. She apologized and informed me this is happening on pretty much all Acura's and newer model Mercedes-Benz's. She said the engineers are very close to fixing the issue. Problem is after the fix is done, we might have to delete the radio and reactivate it again, which took 2 hours last time.
She extended my yearly plan to an additional 3 months free. I was satisfied with that. I just hope they fix it soon and get another call back to do the refresh.

I finally called a 2nd time. It worked sporadically after the 1st phone. The 2nd call went much smoother as they are now acknowledging that there is an issue. I asked about a refund and they said they will give me one based on how long I have been out of service which has been since May 9th. They are working on a fix but I know there is another upgrade coming on the 18th. So it could very well be down til then. What a screw up for the IT department.

I noticed it not working on Sunday,,, But Get This!!
I was coming over to a different post to tell how I did the $77, Now $86 deal on upgrading my XM service for my Portable Pioneer unit, 2009 TSX and my 2010 TL-SHAWD Tech... My TL has Traffic and Weather and saw this new thread... Last thing I need it to have them delete the radio and re-create the account with my Promo Pricing plan, so I will just wait it out and see what happens... Now Get This,,, On Sunday I ordered a New Garmin GPS, new 2013 Model with lifetime HD traffic... This is for my 2004 Honda Pilot as my present Garmin Nuvi was 7 years old so I decided to get a new one. Won't arrive till Friday,, may need to go into the TL first, not the Pilot if XM does not get it fixed...

Yup, same here on my 2013 rdx - traffic is spotty, no weather at all here in Boston. Talked to SiriusXM's advanced support, did 2 refreshes, turned off the radio, left it on channel 1, the whole 9 yards. Spent an hour and change on the horn with these guys. They must be clueless b/c the rep was trying to blame Acura.

I get weather sometimes, and traffic sometimes but never on the map... just incidents. This happened after they did the channel update.
You people that keep refreshing, re-adding, and spending hours on the phone with customer care are wasting your time. Logically, this is NOT something about refreshing or re-adding. Think about it. I think everyone here including myself has said they have had intermittent service. That being the case, the NavTraffic and weather systems ARE ABLE to get the data to the vehicles. To get it ALL to the vehicles consistently is the problem.

At 6:30 AM (EST) this morning, NavTraffic was working correctly and stay on during my entire commute to the office. Commute ended at 7:30 AM.

I was told by XM Advance Tech Support, that we would be receiving an e-mail from either XM or Acura, when they have it fixed. I am not holding my breath. Spent total fo 55 minutes over 2 days trying to fix their problem.

Nothing still this morning. I talked to an advanced tech who confirmed none of the resetting refreshing is really doing anything except maybe sporadically bringing it back for a short time. She said they are working with Acura to get it resolved, and confirmed tons of people have called. She said all we can do is wait at this point, but anyone who has called in should get an email or call from them when it's fixed. Not sure which versions of navi Acura's it affects since some here seem to have it back fine already.

My Nav/Traffic quit working this morning between 5:30AM and 7:30 AM. Just called the advanced support number posted earlier and was told that they are logging vehicle information and someone will be in touch within 3 business days. Glad I stumbled across this thread!

Got in the car heading for stop number 2, Not Working again, same for stop 3 and 4 over a 90 minute period.. Well at least they know of an issue,,, 2010 TL-SHAWD-Tech ....
