2013 Acura TL SH AWD with nav is awsome but.... always having to get past the comfirmation screen is a pain in the ass when you start the car and want to listen to tunes oh and dont forget to were out the audio button because you will be pushing that just as much. Anyways if you got a shit load of cds like I do and you burn them into your cd player hard drive in your stock system what happens when you replace the battery does those 2 to 3 hundred songs get erased does anybody know.

When you rip your cds onto your car's hard drive it will not erase if you disconnect the battery.

I personally recommend just buying a 32gb usb stick, rip your cds into mp3 and play them off your 32gb usb drive. Here goes some cheap 32gb usb flash drives, these don't have the best transfer speeds, but if you're just using it to play music in the car it'll get the job done.

You don't loose anything you burn on a "hard drive."
In fact, I tried to get rid of the Tina Turner some asshole burned onto the HD of this "Press Car" but it is still there.

I love the Bluetooth audio streaming over all those other options... I just keep my phone up to date with latest music and upon starting the car it resumes playing where I left off. I get out of the car, plug in headphones to hop on the subway and continue playing. Works seamlessly/beautifully.

^ Nevermind... now that I think about it, it was a pretty dumb question. I guess I can create folders instead.

This - I can deal with the more robust interface on my phone way easier then porting it through the Acura system, and any incoming phone calls trigger homelink

bluetooth is nice, i just wish it didnt have like a 10-15 sec lag time in playing the music, and also wished the car had a "home" screen rather then just having the navi on all the time and also showing my playlist from my music or spotify

I keep an iPod Nano connected to the USB port, and is stored in the center console. When I turn on my ride the tunes are ready to play with little delay. It's more expensive than using a flash drive and less storage, only 16 gigs on a Nano. The iPod integration is seamless.

10-15 sec? That's odd. From the time i hit the Start Engine button it's under 5 seconds for the BT audio to start playing. Must be the phone.

I am able to see my playlist using a regular USB. When I do use bluetooth to play songs from my android phone, it's pretty quick. I prefer USB though. I've never tried to play songs from my phone via USB.
