Ok so im looking in the ipod video sections of the forums and i cant basicilly follow what most of you guys are using at this moment since what i can find what most of the people tried in 2006>>>>since we are in 2011 i want to know what most of you guys are up to date since most the item that are cited that should be used are discontinued.......

Im trying to install my 120gb IPOD video but cant really find most of the stuff most of you guys were using back in the days

I was also planing on installing the mediagate hard drive but that is also discontinued.

i'm assuming this is for a 3rd gen TL.

the information that was written in 2006 still applies for 2011.
to play video from your ipod, you will need a video converter.
Most people use the DOM's Nav2go unit.
I have the A/V electronics DVD to nav unit.

To get the audio, you will need either an iSimple or the Pie x3 unit.

there are tons and tons and tons of hard drive based media players. research and find one that fits your needs.
