Its apparent that whatever video signal the adapter gets it MUST be an analog signal. Hence why no HDMI and no DVI. I will keep track of the thread and see how things proceed. Living in the Des Moines, IA area leaves me with little hope of MDTV ever coming.

They were talking about and showing a VGA interface on this unit; I'm not sure why they didn't just do HDMI.

HDMI has its own complications for now, that why we included component inputs, its next closest thing to HDMI and gives ability to feed HD signal

Is the LCD they're using in the NAV native analog?

I'd buy one on ebay to pin out and play with, but not forking out $400 to tinker. I'd be surprised if they were feeding the nav screen analog vs using DDC/TMDS since it's actually cheaper to manufacture.

Even those its listed as iPad 2 only...the next gen iPhone will support this...also those with a jailbroken iPad or iPhone 4 can enable mirroring through a plist edit.
The device mentioned will not successfully mirror the xfinity app or the HBO app. I know, I bought one and returned it. Apple advertises it as though it will mirror anything but the reality is somewhat different.

IOS 5.0 has native support for airplay in all video/audio/gaming applications. It will take some time for vendors to release updated versions, but expect all apps to support this within 3-4 months of release. One would assume that the video out would function in similar fashion, but it is Apple we're talking about.

The HBO app works fine for me on my ipad 2. It also works on a jailbroken ipod touch/iphone 4 after you complete the plist editing that is needed.

Question im interested in this product but i would like to know if this has the bypass for the nav when u turn the car on u have to press OK before doing anything? im tired of hitting the button everytime...

we have made the video today and hopefully our web designer will convert it from raw format and uploads it today or tomorrow

also video interface has entered production stage this past Wednesday

we will be releasing 3 versions

version one will feature 1 video input

version 2 will feature 2 video inputs

and version 3 will feature vga input, composite video in, component video in
