Ipod USB

I am currently looking into the usb connection for the ipod. If you plug in your ipod through the usb connection does it lock you out from the functionality of the ipod or are you able to control the ipod from the ipod itself and also through the nav display?

you cannot control the ipod from the ipod itself, its through the nav unit only.

This...I love the way the Acura Logo pops up on the iPod...but i'm easily amused...lol

Is there anyway to turn the voice off? When i'm listening to a song and trying to find another, I find it annoying that the Voice repeats song titles as I browse...

Acura logo on the iPod? That's cool, I don't get anything on my 3G iPhone? It just shows the standard accessory logo, but my iPhone works other than the iPod portion when connected via USB.
