Display Unit Dimensions

Display Unit Dimensions
Will a navigation display unit & dashboard center vent from a non-base TL fit in a base TL?
Some background:
I have an extra tablet laying around & want to install it in the place of the factory display unit in the car (the Audio-HVAC display unit). Looking at pictures online, removing the navi display for the tablet is possible. Comparing the base display unit with the navi display unit, you will notice that the overall shape (the bends & the curves) are very similar. I can only notice that the navigation screen is longer. The dashboard center vent is slanted down towards the navigation display unlike the base TL’s flat surface as well. All this leads me to believe that the possibility of placing the navigation display & sloping center vent can be done in the base TL.
I tried referring to the service manual I found on this forum (TL ‘09-11) but couldn’t find dimensions, just installation/removal instructions (which are also good!).
I just want to know whether the actual dash molding is different per trim package in the TLs or did Acura simply install a larger display unit and install a sloping dashboard center vent to fit the larger navigation screen. Even looking at the screw points for the mounting tabs, the shorter display unit seems to use the same mounting points as the navi screen just with longer tabs. It makes sense for it to all fit nicely.

Thanks for any help

61100-TK4-A00ZZ Upper dash board, used from 09-14TL's ALL. It just a different shroud/housing for the screen.

Thanks! So am I right in thinking that the center vent assembly differs from trim level? I only assumed the navigation equipped models had an angled piece vs. the base model. I tried looking for the parts & even though they do have different part #s, they cost & look identical...hopefully it works

So it's the same dash.
The vent on top #14 in this link is also the same for all models.
