Can I convert to Sirius? (and yes I searched)

I am too confused after doing a search.

I have an 04 TL with the upgraded surround sound system Acura audio system. My question is- I have a a Sirius portable radio with subscription. Can I convert my XM ready system to play Sirius directly through my radio and what components if any will I need to do this?

Thanks in advance!

You think your confused? What does the upgraded Acura sound system involve? Do you still have your XM account that came with the TL? I've never owned a stand alone XM or Sirius player so I don't know if they combined the programming or not. I think a call to XM/Sirius would answer your questions.

i have a sirius account and wanted to simply add my XM as an addtional subscription. I called sirus and they said I couldn't do that yet even though the XM radio says to call Sirius. They we not setup to do that yet. That sucks.

Told them I'd call back when they had their act together. Didn't want to pay twice for the same thing.
