Aftermarket Battery Clamp for 4 AWG Amp Wire

I'm looking for a good quality battery clamp for my 2011 TL so I can have a good solid connection for my 4 AWG amplifier power wire. I'd prefer the type with screw lugs so I can secure the power wire with a lug as opposed to the type that crush the wire in a cavity. Any recommendations?

what's wrong with the "crush wire in cavity" option? just curious.

I've just never liked that type. Some of the strands don't make contact and the connection comes loose over time. Wire crimped in a lug and fastened down with a screw makes me feel better.

May give this one a try...StreetWires BC2P Top-Mount Battery Terminal for Positive Post

Nevermind. Apparently that clamp is crap. Maybe I'll just get the crush style and replace the set screws with panhead screws in order to attach wire terminals on top.

You can try soldering the cable to the terminal connector

May be better off asking the dedicated Audio/Video/Electronics sub that's generic for AZ than in the 4G section alone.

Agree. Soldering with silver solder will guarantee almost 100% electrical contact coverage.
