I recently bought a 2014 Acura Tl sh-awd and I am having issues connecting my phone to Acura link, it's constantly says unable to connect to Acura server. I have a galaxy note 9 with sprint, have hot spot and bluetooth tethering, still nothing. I've searched the forum, but found nothing but old threads and old phones. Is there a way to get this connected?

Also are there any firmware / system updates for the car, if so how do I get the latest?

Nah it's almost impossible to set this up properly. I've never gotten this working and I've tried all the APN settings I could find for ATT and via BT tethering. everything. no dice =/
