How do you physically install the navi update?
 

I bought a navigation update disc for my 2012 RDX tech and couldn't figure out where to insert the disc, so I never used it. There was something in the manual about having to tear the whole inside of the car apart to get at the thing and I would be afraid to do that. From the diagram the disc insertion point was inside the transmission tunnel housing and I just gave up on the whole thing.
I guess I'm an idiot because I thought you just stuck update the disc in the cd player. Thanks in advance.

Don't know if you're joking or not, but I'm pretty certain you put the disc in the disc player. At least you do on the TL.

What does the display after the 2016 purple disc look like?

Any noticeable graphic improvements to the other interfaces like the phone or audio menu? Or is it strictly more map data?
