My wife has a new 2012 MDX Tech and I am really dissappointed in the HFL software. Too many buttons to push to make a call and everytime when you hang up from a call it goes to announce the first speed dial number.

I have a 2008 TL and love my HFL. Has anyone experienced pain with the new 2012 HFL in your cars?

Yep just got a 2012 TL Elite (Canada) and noticed that when you push the talk button to make a call you get the "Voice Recognition Page" come up with commands, you can just push the Talk button again and it disappears but it is a pain. I can't find anyway to disable this step. I traded in my 2009 MDX Tech and calls were just one step, as is my wifes 2010 RDX Tech

From the "setup" screen, select "basic settings". After turning off the "voice recognition feedback" function, you won't get the command page anymore whenever you press the "talk" button.

Thanks Edward, first thing I tried but no luck. Maybe I will try again and turn off vehicle (like a reboot) and see what happens.
