I'm really surprised Acura didn't include this functionality in the 2012 TL, especially since the Tech/Advance already has the ability to do this (via Bluetooth communication) right now. It's mainly exposing user interface, so maybe a software update will become available, but that's probably just wishful thinking.

The Pandora feature works with an iPhone. I don't see BSI available on the CR-V.. so it's not more tech, per se. I can do Pandora via BT with my droid but can't control it over the MID.

Stew, I've found that we can indeed skip songs on pandora via the CH+/- button on the steering wheel. But yes, no album art available...

Ahh, didn't even think about this (simply running the Pandora app on your phone using BT audio)... good call! The CR-V is simply putting an "app" on the MID (but it requires a phone with BT and data connection to run, same as the actual Pandora app).

I would definitely enjoy the album art, as well as being able to change stations in Pandora straight from my nav screen rather than using the phone. But I guess that would mean they would need to enable video to stream as Pandora commercials have been getting uber annoying and frequent lately.

Android phone users have a nice app called Vlingo that will let you compose texts with voice and read them to you. Their in car app isn't quite ready for iPhone yet, but of course the newer 4s' have Siri

I agree about the album art, but then again if album art is anything like what is there currently for ipod it is almost useless. Quite small and overwritten by text. The correct way would be to show the art on left and text next to it on the right, and make the text scrollable for long text. So close, yet so far..

That only means the next TL and RL will be loaded with all kinds of new tech plus this.

2013 TL will most likely be the last model year for the 4th generation.
