2009 Acura TL Tech Radio Voice Recognition
In which year did Acura added the voice recognition to the radio in order to play the song of your choice by voice?
Since my TL does not allow me to play a song by voice I'm trying to replace my 2009 factory radio with the radio of a later version TL (2010-2013) that would allow me to do that. By looking at pictures it is my impression that the radio is the same, dimension wise, and should fit my 2009 model. Any guidance?

anyone have a link to all the available voice commands? a lot of them are retarded and difficult to remember (much faster to simply press fan speed up, or volume up, than to remember it/say it) but there are some useful ones. Only one i use often is "what is today's date?" haha

Keeping TL until 2029
Any word that is displayed is a good guide. A good example is...
To nav a playlist on an iPod...
iPod play
You will notice a Number in the list, just say 2 (I think that is playlist.)
Display audio
Display map
Hit the phone button on the steering wheel

It's in the manual. I have also used...
Find closest restaurant.
Find closest coffee shop.
Once, I was in a rush, I used...
Directions to Toronto airport and it worked.
I find it's easy to punch postal/zip code before entering the street name to speed up the search. Also, watch out settings for tolls on long trips. I was driving from Toronto to North Carolina and had avoid tolls set. That is not a good idea. It was going to save me $20-40 in tolls but add like 3 hours of time.
