I was getting 32-33mpg on cruise with my 17" stockies in my FWD before i put on your wheels.... That was perfect conditions filling up a full tank on the highway on a 1.5hr trip back... So literally 100% was HWY cruising

okay, so stripes and decals aside. I actually have similar LEDs on my headlights and grille (not inspired by JT's car). I did them myself last fall.
I actually got a lot of compliments and looks for them. Although I did my grille lighting completely differently. I kept the OEM Metallic Beak Grille and hid the Grille LEDs under the Beak and allowed the light to bounce off the bottom lip of the grille.
Check out the photos. LMK what you guys think? My head light LEDS are almost identical to JTs' though. It would have been better to install them inside the headlight , but I've been too lazy to take them apart just yet, but I'm most likely going to get brighter LEDs and do that soon.

Actually, judging from my own picture, I really think you can get 500 miles/full tank, but only on the highway with newer tires.
Thats 30.7 mpg in the picture with 403.8 miles after refill and about 1/3 tank left. Very possible. Oh its FWD too so, it helps

you do realize what you did was a trip.. i was talking about real world city, daily local driving.. 500 miles off a tank cannot be achieved with day to day driving, local streets, etc..
i can do 33mpg on my car if i do a trip down to Arizona.. but that is cruising..any car can get more than MFG recommended if you put it on cruise.. you cant compare "when im i go on a trip mpg" to a true daily mpg.. hell if i drive down hill for an hour i can achieve 40+ mpg...
btw, you should return those leds back to autozone..
personal opinion.. they look gross.... less is more is what comes in mind.

Hah, and you really hate LEDs. I agree , less is sometimes more, in my case I thought the front end of the 09 model was really lacking, like I said I was trying to get the most of it (experimenting). I've grown to like it though, but thanks for your opinion.
Just a note, these are actually really cheap shit LEDs from walmart, hah. They are starting to warp and some LEDs burnt out since I've taken these photos. The grille ones are fine. I will most likely remove them and get better brands.
Doesn't stop me from asking your opinions on the looks though.
For the rest of the car I will do minimal and mostly (blackout / smoke) looks, already got tints.

Wilson you're far away, but if you'd like to come you're more than welcome to. We have our BX meet in the CC mall in Yonkers, during the even, on Wednesdays. I use to go to LI every other week for the Glen Cove meets, those were nice; plenty of cool cars and even exotics weekly.
