White/Umber combo?

I've done some searching here and can't find any definitive pics/answers.

I am dead set on getting a white SH AWD Tech. I thought you could only get Umber interior with black or "Umber/Mayan" (whatever its called) exterior. I saw someone post something a couple years ago saying he had White exterior with Umber int. Anybody seen this, or is it a custom thing?

My budget is around $25k, I have found several '09-'10 for that or lower, some with higher mileage, but that doesn't bother me too much. Im willing to drive 200+ miles to get a deal, and I am watching a few websites a few times a day waiting for what I want to pop up.

Am I searching for needle in a hay stack looking for Umber int? Any opinions on that color interior? I still have never seen it in person, but from pictures it looks very nice, kind of elegant.

umber is rare.. let alone a sh-awd with umber..

you only have 3 options for interior..

beige, black, or umber..

umber comes in cbp and mayan and white

Don't know about Canada but in my area in the US, at that price, I think one should be able to get a brand new 2012 leftover if there are any at this point.

Although the CDN$ is actually valued higher than the USD at the moment, there is still an unfavourable variance in vehicle price for Canadians as compared to the US.

That said, I have yet to see a brand new Advance/Elite offered anywhere near that in the Canadian marketplace on the 2012's. The 2012 Advance/Elite retailed in Canada for $48,990 before $1,945 freight, air tax ($100), tire tax ($30) - or $51,065 list plus 13% tax.

So $38,850 is $12,215 off list - and that's before even negotiating with the dealer off their asking price. Not a bad reduction for only 9,300km of driving. It also has already been tinted and appears to have the protection package as well. In this marketplace, that is a good deal. And no, I don't work there LOL.

wow... that's a huge difference.
In the US, TL AWD Advance/Elite stickers for about $46kUSD and according to today's yahoo currency exchange that would translate to about $45kCAD.

I bought a 2012 TL AWD Tech this year which is about $2k less than the Advanced/Elite and I was able to negotiate down about $6k. I figured if a 2012 AWD Advance was still available, similar discount can be applied if not more considering we are in the last month of the 2012 calendar year.

Yeah, we get screwed here. Figure - at list price, the Elite runs almost $58K after tax in Ontario. Factor in negotiated discounting off list and you get the picture. Acura Canada has some attractive rebates for remaining 2012's, but still, there is a big gap in pricing.

The only positive thing up here is our resale is much better than the USA, although it should be since we pay more for the car as it is.

OP as far as that colour combo, goodluck, it's easily my favorite combo as well.

Good luck to you! I was looking for damn near the same thing with the same search criteria. I spent the better part of 8mo. looking for one. It's a rare bird to find especially with decent mileage, condition, clear title, distance, and price! Not to mention the color combination. I ended up getting a CBP/Umber and I absolutely love the interior. It's well worth the wait and one thing you may regret passing on if you got another color. From what I found you would need to be looking in the 60k - 75k mileage range for a solid car in that price range. Mine was $25.5k with 38k and damn near flawless. Little high, but not bad.

I believe the Umber could come in four colors in 2009. Black, white, Mayan bronze, and Grigio were all colors that I saw with that interior while I was hunting.

If you haven't considered it already, be prepared to deal with a hassle if you find a vehicle out of state. I narrowed my search considerably after getting close to a deal on a white/umber out of state. Such a pain!!!

Again, good luck with your hunt but be ready to be in it for the long haul if that's something you really want! My advice... If you can afford to wait it out then do so. Don't settle.

Unfortunately I don't have that kind of time, and I was afraid this was the case. Thanks for confirming my thoughts, so I might just have to settle on something other than Umber. I'm going for white with taupe interior. I can't do black, and I don't love the gray, so taupe it is.

From what I'm seeing you are right on with the price. I found one for 23k but it had 71k miles on it. I'm okay with higher mileage, I know it will last well into the 200k range since I take care of my rides. Either way, I will love what I get, I'm sure.

I just bought a 2009 AWD WDP with umber interior. I was looking for black or white with umber interior and it was pretty hard to find. When I found mine, same dealer was selling exactly the same but with higher milage and 2010. WDP SH-AWD with Umber interior is not a common combo that's for sure.
