I feel like an idiot. There is a little drawing in the Owner's Manual but I sure can't see a level bolt there. The earlier trannies are different, so those tutorials are useless - the drain port is relocated to the back bottom surface (it's now a flush 3/8 square bolt), and I guess the level port was also moved.

Can anyone tell me exactly where to look, or post a pic?

BTW, I am changing the oil and checking all the fluids on my recently acquired 2010 SH-AWD 6M. I found the transfer case fluid low - I could touch the fluid but it was at least 1/8 inch below the opening. So I just drained what was there and am going to refill with Red Line 75W90 synthetic.

I really want to check the main gearbox.....

Who else thinks that stupid plastic cover is too !@#$ complicated to remove? I hate those plastic push pins - I broke several that were in grittier locations.

OK, no thanks for the non-help. Does this mean that nobody checks their gearbox oil level?

I finally found it - Acura really did their best to hide it.
