Where to buy factory accessories other than dealership?

hello folks,

recently picked up a 12' TL SHAWD/TECH and am wondering where is the best place to buy factory accessories rather than going to my local dealer? My salesman said he can get me some of those I need at his employee discount rate which is nearly 50% off the msrp. It sounds like pretty good deal, what do you guys think?

If your salesman can get you accessories at 50% off, I would stick with him. Most of the online sources offer around 10% off.

I recently ordered door guards for my 1 week old TL- SH-AWD Advance www.acurapartsworld.com.

All other online dealer website charge for shipping + handling. Thogh their price is not the lowest, the total comes out to be cheapest as compared to bernardiparts.com or acuraoemparts or CarlandAcura or any other.

I got my parts for 25% off MSRP without any additional employee discount etc.

If you indeed get 50% from your sales guy, I can pull out my shopping list too

Good Luck.

Well 50%, I cannot do. That is below cost. Make sure your salesman is giving you true Honda MSRP.

Anyway, we are 25% off MSRP everyday with an extra 5% for Acurazine members. Just type Acurazine in the comment section of the shopping cart prior to checkout. The extra 5% offsets most of the shipping charge. (shipping is typically 7%).

Our internet host has the disk in-hand to update the site. While we wait for them to put the 2012 & 2013 on our website, let me know what you need and I can give you the part numbers and instructions on how to order.

Thanks guys. I really appreciate all your replies. Here in Canada, I believe our prices will be higher comparing to our USA neighbours. A cargo net with 2 trunk hooks will be $170 plus tax and installation. I will find out more when I hear from my salesman next monday.

It seems that you are closer to about 23.84% off the lowest MSRP of yourself and your competitors and average about 24.20% when compared to the Acura/Honda eStore...without consideration to your stated additional 5% off.

Yeah, math on a Sunday morning.

To set the record straight, we are at Honda's MSRP less 25%. See examples below:

08F12-SEP-2A0 $509.00 MSRP less 25% (x.75) = $381.75 price on our site
08P20-SEP-2A0 $ 77.00 MSRP less 25% (x.75) = $57.75 price on our site
08P05-SEP-2A0 $ 179.90 MSRP less 25% (x.75) = $134.93 price on our site

TOTAL MSRP $765.90 less 25% (x.75) = $574.43
PARTS SUBTOTAL $ 574.43

EXACTLY 25% OFF MSRP

Now if you take the extra 5% off of the parts subtotal offered to Acurazine members it would look like this:

Parts subtotal $ 574.43 less 5% (x.95) = $ 545.71

Parts subtotal after discounts = $545.71/$765.90 total MSRP = .7125 - 1 = .2875

Total savings off of MSRP = 28.75%
