I think I can do the job but if not I can at least get the kit a little cheaper . I am still on fence. I got quote today for $1750 for belt/pump/plugs . the thing that shocked me was the warranty was only 1yr 12K miles. Is that normal?

$200 kit + $30 1 gallon of antifreeze (type 2 Honda Coolant) + 4 hours of labor = $1750. Everything seems to be correct.

Honda Genuine parts come with a 1yr warranty. They're also the best parts on the planet (for your Honda).

Plenty of shitassed aftermarket parts carry a lifetime warranty. Which just means that if they break and cause damage, the company will send you some new shitty parts to replace the shitty ones which just failed. That's the end of their liability.

My point is to not shop on warranty.

Buy the parts from Honda/Acura if you want the best.

Or buy quality aftermarket, regardless of warranty terms. Aisin kits seem to be well regarded.

Find a good shop. Idk how to help you with that, unfortunately.

I have Honda shop I am going to call and I may put it in this coming week. car is really strong for what it is with the miles so I need to inspect first to see if its already had the service done. its a lot of money to spend if it was already done. rather buy wheels if service was done.

I'm doing similar work to my 2013 TL FWD Advance with 85k miles. Love this car btw, never had any mechanical problems.
I bought the Aisin THK-002 timing belt and water pump kit from RockAuto, along with a Gates serpentine belt and tensioner, an ATP transmission fluid filter (I'm tired of that gurgling sound at startup), 2 gallons of pre-diluted Valvoline antifreeze, and 4 quarts of Aisin DW-1 transmission fluid. Cost was $372 from RockAuto which includes shipping and it was delivered in 2 days.
I have a local Discount Tire and Service Center who allows me to buy my own parts and they supply the labor. They do great work and are charging me $700 to install all of the above, which is 3.5 hours at their rate. So a total of $1,072 for everything.
It seems like a fair rate to me and I'm going tomorrow to set an appointment.
The last time I used them, I purchased 4 sets of Akebono brake pads along with 4 Dynamic Friction brake rotors from RockAuto. Material cost was $325 with shipping, and they charged me $300 labor to install. The brakes work perfectly and the cost was a few hundred dollars lower than what anyone else was quoting for the same thing.
Just adding this post as a frame of reference for maintenance pricing.

From personal experience I can say that a Mitsuboshi belt is no less reliable than a OEM Honda belt.

To add to my post, I had all the work done and now my car runs like when it was new. No more gurgling sounds at startup, tranny goes into drive and reverse smoothly now and shifts are ultra smooth again. 11 years old and still zero rattles no matter how bad the road is, and it still drives straight as an arrow with no vibrations. Never had an alignment and I never rotate the tires. Amazing car.
