What's factory HID color for 2010-2014 TL?
Guys!
A quick question:I want to change my fogs bulbs and parking lights to something light and matching to the original 2010 TL HID. I don't want them to look fake (I have seen some looks bluish). I don't mind paying a little more but getting the right color temperature.
Thanks

Well, my 2012 TL AWD originally came with osram xenarc d2s 66240 4300K oem. For me the oem 4300K was way to yellow so I upgraded to osram xenarc d2s 66240 CBI 5500K. I can't remember but I think the oem h11 halogen bulb in fogs will produce about 3800k-4000k color if that, as for the parking lights it is hard to match to 4300K. The leds might produce slight different color as there is so many different manufacturers.

You'll never get an exact match between low beams / fogs. I've tried 6k low beams and 6k HID fogs and the fogs were too blue. I've also tried 6k low beams and 5k HID fogs and the fogs are too white.
The closest I've seen (at least in pics) is 8k low beams and 6k fogs...but the 8k is not an ideal choice for low beams!

If you want halogen bulbs Hoen makes great bulbs that match most factory HID systems.
