Here in the Southeast (I'm in North Florida) finding a 2012 TL Tech SH-AWD with 6MT is almost like finding a winning lotto ticket. Going to dealer websites, everyone has PLENTY of Tech's with auto - but no 6MT's in sight.
Apologize if this was covered - but looking maybe to move up from my 08 TL Tech.

I just put down a deposit yesterday for a 2012 SH-AWD 6MT Tech. As expected, no dealers in the surrounding five states have one available. I'm also looking specifically for a Bellanova White Pearl, so that will make it more challenging.
My salesman is going to try to find one that is in transit across the country that could come here instead, or find one that is currently in production that hasn't already been assigned.
Otherwise, it will have to be a factory order that could take 4-6 weeks.
To me, it's worth the wait. I'm a very patient person so I don't mind the wait. Plus, the anticipation is kind of neat.
This will also give me some time to sell my 2004 TSX privately and get a bit more out of it compared to a trade-in.
You can search for a 6MT here. Obviously put in your own zip code to see the distance. If you aren't very color-specific, you might be able to find one.
Good luck!
EDIT: Hey, there is one in Jacksonville.

Let's see what kind of price they will quote me. If you don't mind me asking, how much were you able to negotiate off?
Thanks for the help!

I inquired for an internet quote at the dealer I bought my TSX from, and within ten minutes I had a reply back for a quote for $37,858! You should be able to get a pretty good deal right now. I was also looking through the "4G TL Owners Sign In" thread and it seems like most are able to get a deal as well.
I also checked at two additional dealers but they were a few hundred to a couple thousand above my dealer's quote.
No problem!

You can get a better deal I think. I paid $36.8K (new) and I read someone else paid $36.6K. I guess its all about how badly the dealer wants to get rid of the car. I showed up to the dealership Saturday around 5 and was the last customer to walk in the showroom as there were 7 salesmen on the floor...

My dealer also had a dealer cash rebate but that ended. I do quality for the $1k loyalty cash, as long as that is still going on when the car is delivered, which it should be.

I should have been more clear - they got two 6MT 2012's... total. Haha. Like, for all of the 2012 model year.
The guy who puts in the orders for new cars said that they're a double edged sword. Either they sell really fast, or they sit on the lot forever. He said ordering them is usually a huge gamble, but he always orders as many as he can anyway because he usually doesn't have too much trouble trading them off to other dealers if nobody picks them up.
