I pay 1750.00 for 6 months Diddy.
Wow. I'm right up there as well. I'm paying 1900 for 6 months and this includes a few points on my license which would hopefully vanish off the records in a few years. The expenses that go along with owning a car is scary when you think about it. I actually think auto insurance is one of the biggest legal frauds out there. I live in Brooklyn. It doesnt mean I should receive a higher premium than let's say someone from the Bronx.

Our State Farm bill is pretty high every month (like $300). But that includes our homeowners & life. I think it's around $500 for both every 6 months. Pretty cheap, but we have no claims and are both married as well as over 25yrs old.

The increase in the price of cigarettes here in the city is about 15 bucks, so i quit smoking.

Sigh, if it was only legal to traffic cigarettes across the states.

My insurance premium is 450 a month with Progressive. Anyone know of a good Defensive Driving Course I can take online? And how many different courses should I take to lower my premium as much as possible?

Thats insane. It varies from state to state, but in NY you're only allowed to take it once every three everys for point deduction + 10% off premium.
