What my first mod should be? '09 TL w/Tech

I'm considering getting that J-pipe as my first mod, I'm guessing it will cost about $1,000.00 after install which is reasonable.

Is there anything cheaper that you'd recommend? I'm looking for performance and swagger?

Do you think the J-Pipe that everyone is ranting and raving about is the best best.

Thanks in advance for the recommendations!

I just got into a 09 TL myself. I think I'm going with debadge, tint, h&r springs and some larger rims myself. The stock 17s are nice for the winter but seem really small for such a big car.

Performance wise, I'll probably do a j-pipe and get some pre-cat high flow pipes if they ever come out. J-pipe seems like a no-brainer. More power, more mpgs and nothing really to worry about!

i believe only 1 company now provides j-pipes so there isnt anything cheaper besides having one custom made.

secondly.. dont you have like 4 speeding tickets already?? and you want your car to go faster?

get a drop and tint.. it should be your first thing to mod... maybe wheels.

The easiest, best bang-for-the-buck change you can make on your car is new wheels, better tires.
IMHO a lightweight set of 18" wheels with four Michelin Pilot Super Sports makes this car a dream sedan.

I just installed my J-pipe yesterday. For a 3G Type S, it cost $400. We installed it ourself, but having someone do it will only take an hour. So a dealer install might be ~$150. But that has no swagger.

3430 and Blackura are right-wheels and a drop is what you're looking for.

Get the A-Spec OEM Kit, then drop and wheels. I think it'll make the car look much better.
