Been watching that show since I was a kid... great show actually, I record all of them and skip thru stuff I'm not interested in... they just trashed the new Lexus small hybrid thing this week (I think it's a CT200 or something like that)

On my Dallas UVerse, I see it being recorded at 3:30 (central) today on PBS.

Did they really "blast" it? I ask because I've always asked myself whether MotorWeek really blasts anybody. It always seemed like you could throw an Aztek, Gremlin or Edsel in front of them and the worst they'd say is "gosh diddly do, it could use a bit more power, but it was fine." lol.

Just watched it. Just as I was afraid of, not much depth to the review. They started the show off, with what else, but saying Acura toned down the questionable styling. They said it got a "tummy tuck and some lipo, too. Like a Beverly Hills beauty, styling is further sculpted and much more refined". They complimented the nimbleness and responsiveness of the SH-AWD and said it was similar to a smaller sports car. They said it's leaner, tighter, and now looks as good as it performs.
They did knock the fact that rear seats still don't fold.
They were rolling in an AUTO SH-AWD. I don't know if they actually tested this or were just repeating other numbers, but : 0-60 in 5.5.

I have yet to see any online video or television review that has shown an SH-AWD go through a slalom. I'm starting to wonder if SH-AWD reacts too slowly to perform well through a quick slalom.
Has anyone on this forum auto-crossed their SH-AWD with a fast slalom? How does it do?
In the real world, it's a rarity to have go back and forth more than once - so I haven't noticed any problems with reaction time of SH-AWD on my '10.

MW definitely "trashes" some cars, but as noted above, does so very subtlely... been watching regularly and while they try to keep things positive, you can tell when they aren't that excited about one... they clearly liked the '12 TL
