Warrenty or no?
I have acura plus warrenty up to 160xxx. On my 2012 acura tl sh-awd. Dealership is telling me i need a valve adjustment and want to charge me for it. I have not yet give them the go ahead as i am unsure. Dont have my copy of whats coverd and whats not so kinda lost..

- Rotate tires
- Independent of the Maintenance Minder information, replace the brake fluid every 3 years.
- Inspect idle speed every 160,000 miles (256,000 km).
- Adjust the valves during servics A, B, 1, 2, or 3 if they are noisy.

Are your valves noisy or ticking? They shouldn't be.
Sounds like BS from the dealer (that you need a valve adjustment).

A valve adjustment can help out if it has never been performed before. I did it at 105K to ensure everything was proper as I plan the second TB job at 210K, not at 165K.
