Warranty Claim or Quick Fix?

First, let me use this as a quick intro as this is my first post.
Hello, my name is Rob and whatever I post is for my MOTHERS completely stock 2012 Tl w/tech package. It is a great car. I personally own a 2012 Civic Si as a daily and a 1998 Jeep Cherokee as a winter beater/work truck. As much as I would love to mod the Tl, it is my mothers car and I respect that. Her last two cars were a 2001 Lexus GS and a 2005 Lexus ES. Ok, so my actual question is, the back of her passenger side skirt is loose or is not fitted correctly as it is hanging off sort of. I will attach a link to my photobucket because the site wont let me upload pics but I just am not sure if it is something I can fix myself, I do all of the work for my Jeep and Honda (Except warranty claims) myself, so I am definitely not a newbie with tools and the inner workings of cars (In fact, I just replaced the shocks on my Jeep today) but I could not get it to "Snap" on. I am planning to take her car to the dealer under a warranty claim anyway because her exhaust tips are already rusting and I have never seen any other 4th gen TL's on the road with this issue. Thanks, Rob.

I tried but it seems as I need to unhook the other part of the assembly to make the motion to first try to seat it correctly. I will try it again tomorrow, I guess i'm asking if anyone has had this happen before, I don't even know how this happened in the first place...

But thanks for replying to my first post! Lol...

I replaced my side skirts with the underbody spoiler side skirts and that part looks like the part where the clip slides in sideways rather than snaps on like the rest of the clips. You may need to pull the whole side skirt off and then put it back on. I attached a link to the instructions on how to remove the side skirts. If you don't wanna risk breaking the clips, you can take it to the dealer and have them do it.

After my mother told me that she was hit by someone in a staples parking lot after I showed her what was wrong with her car, I knew the warranty was gone with this so I did it myself, I had to take off the wheel to stick a screwdriver into the wheel well to unscrew it all and it does not sit perfectly but much better then before. I want to upload photos but cannot

Btw, the reason why I was hesitant to take it off is because I have never touched the Acura in my life with anything more then a tire iron. This is not a toy for me to play with, it is my mothers only car and that is why I have the Si and Jeep.

If you don't feel comfortable in the situation, don't fuck with it.
