Valencia Acura is the WORST dealership EVER!

Just thought I'd open a rant on these guys. They sold me a car ( might be a lemon) that nobody decided to scope out before they sold it. Since day one it hasn't been able to Track straight. First the struts were bad, I guess both because they couldn't tell which one was defective. Then they drive it back to me so out of alignment that when I took the car to 101 west they were baffled, every tire was in the red on the graph. The car had 110mi on it before I picked it up... I was told it was brand new. They said they would compensate my gas and now have no recollection of that ever being said (multiple times)

And to top it off, the general manager (Danniel Choe) argued with me that absolutely nothing was wrong with the car. EVEN AFTER I SHOWED HIM IT WAS.

I opened a case with Acura. I really dislike everyone there, beware.

Well the mileage 110 could be attributed to a number of things, mostly test drives or transfer from another dealer, etc.

They won't do anything for you? Put you in another car or not?

Not yet, it goes back next week for the 3rd time. They also won't acknowledge the spooling whine while on the throttle from 20-50mph. I have a case after the 3rd time and it's not fixed

When I bought my tsx in 06 the dealer I bought it from had to do a dealer trade. My tsx had 138 miles on it. Was not a problem as I now have 142k+ problem free miles.

I have never even seen a new car with zero miles on it. One hundred ten miles is as low as I've ever heard.

What do you mean by spooling whine? I think I have this as well as there is a distinct whooshing sound coming from the front end when I accelerate in that range. Makes me think I have a turbo under the hood!

Most likely bad propeller shaft. Had it replaced on my '12 AWD few weeks ago. Seems like a common issue

Sucks to have new car problems. You'd like to think when you drop $30-$40K you're getting a brand spanking new shiny piece of awesomeness.

Just out of curiosity, why did you agree to buy it with 110 in the first place? Was there no other one with your color and specs? When I bought mine in July I made them find the car with the lowest miles on it in my color (there were two, with 8 and 4 miles).

New car having 110 miles is no big deal. Have always bought new cars with miles ranging from 45 - 135 - 22. Car is still new. Sounds like a lemon to me and if they keep giving you crap, get a lawyer. That always scares the crap out of them. Good luck my friend.

You know, sometimes even dealership with expensive new alignment racks can be clueless when working with alignments. I've heard horror stories where the tech didn't know how to use the alignment rack, so when the computer printout came out off, he would adjust the steering wheel, then print out a new result sheet.

True. After having my DWS's installed, I brought the car to the dealer to get it aligned. Brand new hi-end alignment machine, but the service advisor couldn't believe how upset I was when I showed her that the 'after' specs were worse than the 'before' specs. She finally refunded my money ... I returned a few days later when both my regular service advisor and technician were around, and the alignment was done correctly - for free. Seemed the tech who did the first alignment wasn't familiar with the new machine, and had to be shown how it worked. Female service advisor hasn't spoken to me since.

I have purchased 4 cars, brand new off the lot, since 2007 and none of them had over 42 miles on it. First car was Scion tC with 21 miles on it, then 2008 Acura TL with 42 miles, then Nissan Sentra with about 14 or 15 miles, and the last 2012 Acura TL with 4 miles on it.

I try my best not to buy a "brand new" car with more than 50 miles on the odo. To be, that car is considered a demo.

^^ What morbidz said.

If the whining is coming from the shifter area, and only once you go 40mph and above, its most definitely the drive shaft. I got mine replaced last month, of course, under warranty.

Man, sorry to hear this. I'll be anxious to hear what Acura has to say on this one.

I guess I stand corrected. Regardless, if you're worried about having a hundred miles on a new car that has a 50k mile warranty, then you're likely to be disappointed with a lot of things about the car and will blame it on such.

I think many of us who bout our cars (not leasing) would dissagree. I'm very anal about breaking in engines, 100mi throws that right out the window, even though I still continued in my personal break in. All in all, I can live with the 100mi but I CAN'T live with a car that hasn't been able to track straight since day one, let alone feel stable at high speeds and corner correctly. My fiancée won't even drive it because it swerves in and out of lanes if you don't fight it.

Anyways, I have a case worker with Acura now. If they can't fix it, then the lemon lawyer takes over.

Again.. I still LOVE this AWD TL, wouldn't want any other car. Just want it to perform as it should.
