TSX or TL

TSX or TL
Greetings,
For 8 years, now I've driven my 2006 TSX w/Navigation. My car now has 110k and it still drives great. The only down-side to the car is the paint job, as my TSX is Milano Red, which means it's now pink!! I'm about to pass my TSX onto my older daughter, and I'm now searching for it's replacement. I rarely if ever purchase a new car, thus I'm looking for a CPO Acura with the Tech package. The other day I drove a 2012 TSX and 2012 TL, both with Tech. The TSX has a very familiar feeling, yet the TL is more refined and comfortable.
I'd like to hear from the folks in this forum, for any commentary you can provide regarding the 2012/2013 versions of both models - good and bad. I don't necessarily need a sports handling car, as my wife as a BMW 128i convertible and I have a 1985 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa, both of which handle wonderfully.
Thanks for what I hope will be great feedback.

I still have my 04 TSX and picked up the 2014 TL SH. Made the right choice. I wanted more space and a classier car. The TSX is a great car as well so just depends if you wanna spend a little more for more car.

Both models will do you well. I would think about how you use the car when you drive it and decide based on that. The big differences I see with TL .vs. TSX is:
a. TSX has fold down seats while TL has pass-through port. Both options have their advantages so you need to decide which option makes the best since for you. Since you other cars seem on the small/sporty domain, the TL/TSX might be the car to go to Home Depot.
b. Performance/Handling/Economy. While both cars drive well, they have different personalities. I would say the TSX would be a nice city car that is slightly more nimble than the TL. The TL would be a better long-distance cruiser with the added luxuries and features. There won't be a huge difference in highway MPG between the two models if that's a concern
c. Looks- well that is subjective. The TSX has more conventional looks while the TL has a different look and won't resemble other cars as much. I would say the TSX would retain more resale than the TL will in that the TSX looks closer to the TLX than the TL does.
d. Change- if you get a TSX there will be a lot of similarity with the 1g TSX. That could be good if you want things to be the same but newer. The TL will be a different car but have some familiar similarities.
