Trunk size different in FWD vs AWD?
Just got the 12 tl w/tech awd 6 Spd manual and they threw in a trunk tray thing but it fits horrible. I know they pulled it off a fwd car where it fit perfect. In my car the fit is way off. They tell me it's a one size fits all but there's no way. I'm not home (on phone) so I can't search for the trunk dimensions. Am I crazy?

The AWD comes with a little "step" in the trunk to make room for the rear differential. The FWD doesn't have this "step" looking thing. The step is located in the back of the trunk.
If you look at the trunk tray, you can see that there's an extra piece attached to the back of the tray and that's the part that is not making the tray fit correctly. In order for the tray to fit the AWD trunk, you have to cut away that extra piece of the tray. I hope this helps.

Good to see that it works for ya... Indeed,the SH-AWD's trunk is smaller than the FWD TL. I think it's something like 12.8 to 13.x

yea that little hump made it so I couldn't fit larger pieces of luggage.
I hope acura figures out a way to make the trunk for the 5gtl larger and flatter. The 4gtl's trunk isn't much larger than my 06 civic sedan's trunk
